The Red Cross provides assistance, 24-hours-a-day to people affected by disasters.
Services include:
* Providing shelter, food, clothing, and first aid to those seeking refuge from home fires, power outages, flooding, hazardous material incidents, and dangerous weather situations.
* Providing food and supplies to emergency service workers.
* Providing mental health assistance to those affected by a disaster, including relief workers and volunteers.
* Providing referrals to other available resources.
* Responding to inquiries from concerned family members outside the disaster area.
All Red Cross disaster assistance is free.
